Island Raiders: War of Legends is published by tap4fun, one of Google Play’s verified Top developerS for Android. In theory, most of games on Android with the Google’s officially verified tag are worth a try. Of course, Island Raiders is no reception, The game, which boasts a total of over 1 million downloads, features vibrant graphics and cartoon style characters, which immediately reminds you of Clash of Clans.
Clash of Zombies, previously nozomi, was released last year, but due to its attribute of being stamped with a tag “Clash” in its title, it attracts millions of downloads across the world on Google Play only. This game plays with the same goal of Clash of Clans. You build your kingdom and attack your enemies.
At the end of last year, IGG once again rolled out a reskinned version of its flagship title Castle Clash after a chain of success of reskinned copycats of Clash of Clans from Castle Clash to Clash of Lords and Clash of Lords 2. As the title suggests, Clash of Mafias is all about the clash of mafias. So if you want to start over with a new theme coc, you are good to go play this game.
Tribal Rush is published by R2Game. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.yaowan.tribalrush.r2
Yesterday, Microsoft and KLabGames announced that Age of Empires: World Domination will be released for iOS, Android and Windows Phone this summer. Along with the announcement, a gameplay trailer for the game had surfaced online and attracted my attention simply because the gameplay involving the trailer is too much like that of Clash of Clans.
According to the announcement, Age of Empires: World Domination will be a free to play empire building game where players play as Celts, Vikings, Franks and Huns to build their empires and then lead troops to victory.
If the game will finally play similarly to Clash of Clans, players will have to manage their city by spending a lot of time on building structures and troops. Also, IAPs are an inseparable part of the game. You will download the game for free and then purchase in-app currency to speed up your building and other items.
We are still not sure if the gameplay takes shape, but the graphics remind me of Age of Empires Online. One thing for sure is the game is not the traditional Age of Empires game you played. It is just the next-gen mobile strategy game based on Age of Empires.

If you are an Android gamer living in Canada, you might have already played “Second Earth“, a sci-fi strategy game that resembles Clash of Clans very much. Since this game were released for limited countries for the purpose of beta testing on the Android Platform, you may not pick up this game if you are not an Android user, or were unable to access and download the game.
Today, developer NtreevSoft launches the game in the Canadian App Store aiming to test it on the iOS platform. The game, as I just mentioned, plays with a goal of building a base, training troops and leading them to victory, which is extremely similar to those of “Clash of Clans”. That means, you will have to plan your own unique strategy. On the one hand, you can build your base as strong as enough so that your enemies won’t easily raid your base. On the other hand, you can directly attack other players for loot that can be reused to build your base.
Second Earth is not just a strategy game, but a social game that supports Facebook Invitation and Guild Build. So if you love Clash of Clans, you will definitely love this sci-fi strategy game.
On a side note, I think the visuals of Second Earth easily remind me of Galaxy Factions. Both of the games share a lot similarities.

Supercell, the maker of Hay Day and Clash of Clans, has just launched its newest epic strategy game Boom Beach for iOS. The game, which soft-launched last year for Australian and Canadian App Stores, is now live worldwide with the sole support of iOS 7.0 or later.
Like Clash of Clans, Boom Beach offers you an island where you build your village by constructing defensive structures, training troops and produce spells and weapons to conquer other players across the world.
Honestly, Boom Beach can be considered a follow-up to Clash of Clans as both of the games share a lot in common. But Boom Beach also differs from what Clash of Clans offers in terms of battle mechanism, map and reward system.
If you are looking for a strategy game or a clone of Clash of Clans, Boom Beach is your right choice of this year.

Android version will be coming soon.
Ubisoft has soft-launched a mobile strategy game titled “Battle of Heroes: Land of Immortals“, which turns out to be a COC-inspired game set in the 3D fantasy world. Like Clash of Clans, Battle of Heroes: Land of Immortals allows you to build your kingdom, train units, and fight against other players from all over the world. However, the game doesn’t so much expand the existing COC’s core formula, but plays pretty much similarly to what you might have already fed with from Clash of Clans.
Battle of Heroes: Land of Immortals is clearly more for the diehard strategy gamers who love Clash of Clans, Castle Clans, Sensei Wars, etc. than Ubisoft’s hardcore fans keeping their eyes on Assassin’s Creed and Tom Clancy. Such strategy gamers are more likely to lose interest in this mechanism because there have been dozens of copycats out there, among which are no short of quality ones. The ironclad fact is Battle of Heroes: Land of Immortals itself does not add something interesting.
I have been playing the game since I download it from the Canadian App Store today. The opening animation storytelling feels like you will play a story-driven RPG, but quickly you will realize you made a mistake because when you have done with the teaser tutorial. You will not be put in a position of a village builder. Most of elements are similar to those “Clash of Clans” such as Gems, Timers, battles, and buildings.
Anyway, Battle of Heroes: Land of Immortals is a ripoff of Clash of Clans. The guys behind this project seem not to bring original ideas to it except that it is a 3D dark IP.

Cloud Raiders, developed by innoWate and published by Game Insight, is about sky pirates and monsters who get involved into a war in an isolated island. In the game, you need to build your base, train troops, construct defensive structures, produce resources and lead your troops to conquer other pirates or simply defend your own base.
Judging from the brief introduction of the game, I am sure you have already known how the game works and a landscape of a game might come into your mind. Yes, you are right, Cloud Raiders is just another copycat that closely resembles the world’s most popular epic strategy mobile game Clash of Clans.
To be honest, Cloud Raiders did not give me a surprise partly because I have already known it is a ripoff of Clash of Clans, and mostly because It was done not well. Its color scheme is too much like My Country and the whole landscape feels like a 2D static picture. The ocean surrounding your base should really have waves, or at least give it a little animated ripple instead of a blue picture.
Combat, controls and the whole mechanism are just the same as Clash of Clans. If you compare Cloud Raiders with Clash of Clans, you will find the gap between Cloud Raiders and Clash of Clans is too wide to be filled. Even though it feels inferior to IGG’s Castle Clash.
From its visuals to its heroes, Cloud Raiders cannot be considered a pleasure for both casual and strategy gamers. I cannot believe why Game Insight would still love to publish such type of game especially a game that does not stand out in many ways.
Anyway, Cloud Raiders is now available for worldwide player on Google play. If you are an Android phone or tablet user, you can now visit this link to download this game.
If you love the original Royal Revolt game, you should really take a try on Flaregames’s Royal Revolt 2, a new sequel to Royal Revolt yet with a thorough change from its 3D vibrant visuals, to gameplay.
The game starts with an introduction invading battle that lets you call your tiny warrior by keeping tapping a button, and you can command your warrior by tapping ground anywhere. The game actually looks different from Clash of Clans at this moment. But after you’ve completed this quest, you will be given a very familiar circle to go for. Let’s say, you will have to build your defense, clear stones or forest to build defense towers, traps and other structures. This will gradually remind you of Clash of Clans especially when you have to build your village in a framework of Timer.
However, Royal Revolt 2 is extremely different from many other strategy battle games. Its 3D visuals are a major ride and its battle is completely from Clash of Clans. You can control your units during combat. It was done quite well.
If you are still addicted to Clash of Clans, I suggest you take a minute to play this game, you will be amazed by this marvelous game.

It seems that the influence of “Clash of Clans” is still growing as Social Point, the maker of Dragon City, has recently soft-launched a COC-like game “League of Warriors” for iOS in the Canadian App Store. As we searched the keyword “League of Warriors” on Google, we found that League of Warriors was released for Facebook last year and then removed for no reason.
Now the mobile version of League of Warriors is coming back again and what could it bring and how good it is? It is hard to make a conclusion for such type of game, but the fact is there are tons of such copycats and among them, there are also a lot of quality ones.
DotMMO’s writer has already reviewed this game’s Facebook version. You can read the full review here. The author also highlighted a unique feature, that is, Dragon. Indeed, the dragon is cool and eye-catching.
Apart from the difference of artworks, background story and single-player campaign, you will find the game is just the same as Clash of Clans. So if you are not fed with Clash of Clans type game, just give it a try. You will love it.

Supercell, a mobile game developer behind Clash of Clans and Hay Day, told Reuters that its third game Boom Beach, currently soft-launching in Canada and Australia, is expected to launch globally in early March, 2014.
Boom Beach plays similarly to Supercell’s flagship title Clash of Clans. You will build your village off the beach by constructing defense structures, troops, and magic spells and weapons with an ultimate goal of destroying enemies around your base and beyond.
Although the game was released in beta in Canada and Australia, it has already been recognized as a “Best New Free Game”. In the Canadian App Store, it currently ranks No. 6 in the top grossing chart.
If you are a fan of Clash of Clans or its company Supercell, you won’t turn down this new game. Just take a look at our first look hands-on playthrough video. The App Review Site AppsGoer has an early review for this game, you can read it here.
