Total Conquest

Gameloft’s Total Conquest Soft-Launches for NZ and Ca App Store

At this year’s E3, Gameloft teased a new strategy warfare game that has the same gameplay with Supercell’s Clash of Clans, one of the best iOS games on the No. 1 spot of Free and Grossing Charts. Today, the company has opened the door and soft-launched this highly anticipated game in the New Zealand and Canadian App Store.

It comes no surprise as Total Conquest bears a striking resemblance to Clash of Clans, from its whole color scheme, to battle system, and to Legion part. You are thrown into a world full of loot, robbery and attack. You must build your army and command troops to fend off invasion launched by governors from all over the empire because of Caesar’s death.

When you are into the game, you will first strike at enemies with your troops available. Just follow the tutorial and go to an enemy’s outpost to tap somewhere near it to deploy your unit – Warrior in this case. After you win this battle, you will earn War profits like Gold and Apple. Meanwhile you can also share your achievements to your Facebook friends. This is something a little different from Clash of Clans.

After you completed the tutorial, you will be a real owner of Caesar’s property. At this point, you need to build more buildings to develop your empire by training more powerful units, building more functional towers and turrets.

Troops have a critical role to play in strategy games like Clash of Clans and Kingdoms of Camelot. Tocal Conquest is no exception! In this beta version, you will have ten types of units to choose from – Leginonario, Sagittarius, Praetorian, Speculator, Aries, Ballista, Gladiator, Medicus, Centurio, and Onager.  Although these units are called differently as you were familiar with Clash of Clans, they almost have the same abilities with those of Clash of Clans.

Legion Wars in Total Conquest is like Clah Wars in Clash of Clans. But Legion Wars involve two warring legions that attack each other over the course of three days. At the end of a War, the Legion with the most war Points win a reward of Tokens, which is divided among its members.

It’s not easy to revolutionize the way Gameloft has created to make games over the past years because Gameloft’s imitation model is part of its company culture. With this Golden Rule on mind, we could easily understand why Gameloft made Total Conquest.

On a side note, Total Conquest will hit worldwide in the middle of September. If you cannot wait to play this game, you can download it from either NZ or Ca App Store. It is free! We should have a complete review soon.
