League of Shadows is yet another copycat of Clash of Clans with a dark fantasy theme. It was originally released for Android in Q3, 2013 and lately developer PlayCoMo has released it on iOS.
The core gameplay that made League of Shadows enjoyable contributes to the mechanics of Clash of Clans, even if many of the individual pieces have changed. The art designs reminds me of “League of Legends” and its sounds are pretty good.
As for its downside, you will see your troops that are engaged in the battle won’t survive and you cannot recover it again. This mechanism is also similar to that of Clash of Clans, but a lot of players in the community of Clash of Clans would love to see the fact that surviving troops can be recovered. This way could save a lot of time to build troops for next battle.
Fortunately, IGG has developed Castle Clans to cater for the need of the players. There are a lot of improvements in Castle Clans designed from the perspective of players. But for League of Shadows, it is still changed on the surface.

As the title says, I was completely shocked by a Chinese game called 神兵天降 (Shen Bing Tian Jiang), which was developed by China-based RenRen, a company behind the “Chinese copy of Facebook.”
I was shocked not only by the exact copy of everything that Clash of Clans offers from sound, artworks, gameplay, and even data, but by the fact that the official Apple Team has already approved the game on the App Store.
Just take a look at my first look gameplay video. Tell me what you are thinking.

Happy New Year to all readers. Today, I am going to introduce you another COC like game called Battlefront Heroes, which is developed by Beijing-based Gosu Group. The game is currently available for Facebook and will soon hit mobile this year.
At first sight, Battlefront Heroes looks like GREE’s Call to Arms and Toy Defense in terms of visuals, delivering cartoonish military style graphics and characters. But the game, at its core, is a copycat of Clash of Clans, where you construct your military fortress, build troops, setup traps, forge alliance and attack other players across the world.
Units in Battlefront Heroes such as Flamethrower, Mech, Battlecruiser and the mighty Robo look like robotic models that remind me of Kabam’s Dark District.
If you still love such kind of game in 2014, then Battlefront Heroes is a nice one to take a try on PC and Mac. The game will be set to launch for iOS and Android in Q2, 2014.
